Recently, I had the most awesome opportunity to photograph a Persian wedding. I had never been to a Persian wedding, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Gosh, it was such a fun and an incredible experience! The alter was beautifully decorated with different foods and items that signified the great commitments of marriage, traditional dances were performed, and speeches were spoken in their native language by specific family influencers that made everything feel so unique and purposeful.
The wedding was at Condor's Nest Ranch and overlooked a beautiful mountain scape. The venue was filled with incredible collectibles and antique trinkets. I about died over this venue that was complete with a pool, green house, big red barn, and yard full of farm animals!
Above are two photos of the bridesmaids performing the tradition "knife dance". It was so fun to watch. Let me tell you, Persians know how to dance and know how to throw a good party.
